PC Magazine has a good list complied of little known but very useful web sites.

I like these kinds of lists when they have useful information, and this one does. These are some neat sites and well worth the look.

Here is a weird one: fiber optic cables that carry Internet traffic were taken down – on purpose – by someone shooting a gun (or guns) at them. This happened by Cleveland.

I have to say, that’s a new one! It will be interesting to see how this plays out, if it is some kind of strange trend, or what this is all about.

PC World has a survey regarding iPhone users and their satisfaction level.

The upshot? Great device, easy and fun to use, but a pretty lousy phone. No one seems to like the soon-to-come-to-Traverse City AT&T cell service.
