Microsoft Security Essentials is an excellent - and free - anti-virus/anti-spyware program. It works well for what it is intended for, which is primarily home computers. Easy install, simple interface, and updates itself in the background.
I often get asked “what is a good solution for anti-virus and anti-spyware software for my home computer?” and these days, this is my recommendation.
