

Tim is the founder and President of Terrapin Networks. Tim primarily handles consulting, planning, and design duties for the firm.
Tim's main area of expertise relates to IT system design and efficiencies, as well as business workflow issues relating to the IT system. In short: Tim is an expert at making the IT system in a company or organization -- everything from the computer network and workstations, to the email server and Internet connections, to network and data security -- work like it is supposed to within that company or organization.
Tim's specialty is gathering all the necessary information and putting it together in common terms that any business owner or organization head can understand.
Tim has been published in the Traverse Business News, and is a regular guest on WTCM Talk Radio in Traverse City, answering called-in questions on computers and technology.
In 2006 Tim was named the Chief Technology Officer for the City of Cadillac, Michigan.
Tim Gillen and his wife Sue Gillen live in Traverse City. They have three mostly grown children. Tim is an amateur astronomer in his spare time and he can never get enough of messing with computers. He is active in the Traverse City Kiwanis Club and the Traverse Area Keryx prison ministry.
